Home visits to the children. 

That's fun work to do! Our first home visit was at Rosemond. Her Buli name is difficult for me: Awonmaakalie. (God helps daughter.) When we, Richard and I arrived, the father just wanted to leave for town center with Rosemund. meaning they are not afraid to show her.

Makes me happy!

We were let into the compound. (Of course) I got the only seat (Of course). We talked with Richard as translator. Conclusion: she can't stand or sit properly. Has occasional spasms. You can leave her alone if you are doing something nearby. We will have to look for a doctor who will see if it is possible for her to learn to sit independently and, even better, to stand. And especially a speech therapist. But to be honest, I wonder if there is a speech therapy course here in Ghana! 

Fortunately, Rosemund wanted to sit on my lap, even though she was a bit scared at first. But in the end, she stood (so the strength is in her legs), on my lap, smiling brightly at her parents! And so I can tell something about every child, but I'm not going to do that. When we start, I will write something about each child, so that you can also follow the children and see which development is going on!
